Let’s just start from the beginning. We purchased our first RV and went full time in 2018. We were stationary for a year and then hit the road in 2019. That means we are 6-7 years into this depending on how you look at it. In that time, we have owned 2 motorhomes and changed out our bedding multiple times. We had tried different brands, styles, etc. But you know what….they were all the same. Anyone who has ever slept in an RV bed knows one thing for sure, there is not much room on the sides of the bed. We knew there had to be a better way. After 6 years….yes that’s right SIX YEARS, we finally got a hold of some Beddys. Let me just start off by saying WOW, what a difference! 
We got the Halston Luxe bedding, and we opted for the zipper base. The zipper base actually allows you to keep the fitted part installed and just unzip the bottom sheet and replace with a secondary one that comes with your bedding. This makes washing that base sheet a whole lot easier!
You may be wondering how Beddys are different and if they are worth it. Well hopefully we can help a bit there. Beddys work differently from traditional bedding. Everyone reading this will be familiar with traditional bedding. You have a fitted sheet, a top sheet, maybe a blanket/comforter. The problem is, with RV Beds it can be difficult or even impossible to tuck the bedding in around the sides. This is especially true for beds in slideouts with the walls right up against the mattress.
This is where Beddys comes into play. With Beddys, you will have a base that goes onto your mattress like a fitted sheet. If you get the zipper base version, your bottom sheet will then zip onto the base. If you have the original version it will be all one piece. Then, your stop sheet/comforter tucks around the edges on top of your bottom sheet and you zip it up around the sides. This makes it SUPER easy to have a perfectly made bed every single time. If I had to put down any “con” on our Beddys it would be simply that the top sheet is always attached to the comforter. It would be nice if there was a way to remove it and have an extra top sheet to make it as easy to wash as our bottom sheet. Who knows, maybe that is something Beddys will add in the future. If they do we would certainly get another set! Overall we are extremely happy with our Beddys and would absolutely recommend them. 10 out of 10 FOR SURE.
